Three product lines for sand control in oil, gas and water wells. All three are manufactured in our plant in El Tigre, Venezuela. Base pipe can be supplied by the customer or sourced by us.
Longitudinal slots cut through the pipe wall with gang-mounted circular saws. Slot width, length and density follow the completion design and are gauged on every joint.
Holes drilled through the pipe wall to a specified diameter, density and phasing. Used as wash pipe, as base pipe for screens and for chemical injection.
Keystone wire wrapped and welded over a rod-based frame. Three models: Superflujo for open flow area, Térmica for steam service, Preempacada with pre-packed gravel media.
One plant in El Tigre, Anzoátegui. Slotting, perforating, wire wrapping, welding and inspection are done under the same roof, and the yard behind the building holds pipe before and after it is processed. Nothing is subcontracted.
Manufacturing is the main business. Three further services cover the customer's pipe before and after it is processed.

Slot width, hole diameter and wire aperture are checked on every joint against the order before it leaves the plant. Material certificates for the base pipe and wire travel with the shipment.
Servimeca Sand Control was founded in El Tigre in 1958 and is run today by the third generation of the same family. The plant employs between 100 and 150 people, among them engineers, technicians and machinists. Customers include Chevron, Tenaris, Pipe Supply & Services and PanelMet.
